I am currently exploring VPS hosting options for my small business website, and I would appreciate some advice. I have looked at a couple of them, but I have found several VPS sponsors, and it is difficult to ascertain which sponsor is the best balance of performance, cost, and customer support.

I have watched some positive reviews of VPS service on VPScanBan, but I would like to also hear from people that have used multiple sponsors. When comparing VPS providers for a small business, what are the main factors to consider - uptime, speed, and scalability? Also, are there VPS providers that would be leaders for customer service, user interface, etc.?
Any thoughts on VPS hosting for small businesses would be greatly appreciated. I would also like to know of any pitfalls that I should be aware of when selecting a provider, in order to experience trouble-free hosting.
